Port of Aberdeen’s commitment to inclusion recognised at BPA Awards 2025

Port of Aberdeen has been shortlisted in the ‘Inclusive Workplace Award’ category of the British Ports Association Awards 2025.

Organised by The British Ports Association (BPA), the awards celebrate excellence, innovation, sustainability, and outstanding leadership across the UK ports sector. This year’s shortlist showcases a remarkable group of nominees, each recognised for their exceptional contributions to the UK maritime industry and exemplifying the very best in the ports community.

Port of Aberdeen has been shortlisted for its demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in the port’s workplace culture, with equal opportunities for all employees – illustrating the port’s commitment to ensuring its workplace culture reflects both the port’s heritage and its purpose to create prosperity for generations.

The port is shortlisted for the Inclusive Workplace Award alongside Associated British Ports, Cromarty Firth, Harwich Haven Authority, PD Ports, and Port of Milford Haven.

Winners will be announced live at the awards ceremony which takes place at the BPA's Annual Conference Gala Dinner, in the Humber on Thursday 16 October 2025.
